Electronic Reporting

Regulatory authorities are anxious to promote electronic reporting.

SPRiNG enables users to transmit data electronically using any format acceptable to the receiving regulatory authority.

Bank of England

Forms may be transmitted using the Bank of England's dedicated BEERS format by email. These files are zipped and heavily encrypted. The Bank issues email receipts when forms have been transmitted to it.

Financial Services Authority

The FSA has their own electronic submission method over the internet, called GABRIEL (GAthering Better Regulatory Information ELectronically). Data Items can be transmitted in encrypted format from SPRiNG at the touch of a button.

SPRiNG PSD produces electronic XML data to the FSA's specification in respect of product sales data.

British Bankers' Association

Forms may also be transmitted to the BBA via email using the BEERS format.

Central Bank of Ireland

Forms may be transmitted by disk to the Central Bank of Ireland using its dedicated electronic format.

HM Revenue and Customs

SPRiNG S17 produces electronic output to HMRC specification with all reportable Section 17 and 18 data. This includes all potentially taxable interest paid by UK residents and by residents of countries prescibed by the EU Savings Directive.
